1969 to Today

Established in 1969, Hillside Fabrics Limited began life as a circuit of market stalls in South Wales specialising in dress fabrics. After many years of retailing, we progressed to our first wholesale premises. We became so successful with our wholesale operation, that within two years we purchased our current large warehouse, from which we have been trading for over 35 years.

We import many of our dress fabrics from all over the world, and have long standing relationships with our various suppliers. Some of our most popular lines include dress net, various satins, polyester cotton plain and printed fabric, Bi-stretch fabric, tartan fabrics, dress lining, calico, drill fabric, 100% cotton fabric plain and patterned.

We have also developed an extensive range of dance fabrics, stage fabrics, fancy dress fabrics and novelty fabrics. These include a selection of spandex fabrics, lycra fabrics, metallic lycra fabrics, sequinned fabrics and a variety of Tulle, organza and voile fabrics.

We operate a wholesale haberdashery department, and in recent years, we have also opened a curtain and upholstery fabric division selling fabrics manufactured and imported by Prestigious Textiles Limited.
